I began shooting art photographs when I bought my first digital camera in the early 2000s. In the beginning, the plan was to have ideas and references for paintings. But soon I saw they had merit in themselves, and exhibited photos in a gallery for the first time in 2011, and I’ve continued since. You’ll see the same concerns in my photos as in my paintings: geometry; layering; textures; composition and color.
