As a member of the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, I have exhibited at the BWAC Gallery in spring, summer and fall shows from 2014 to present. In addition, I participated in two juried shows sponsored by BWAC: “Wide Open 8,” juror: Cara Manes, Museum of Modern Art; May 13 – June 18, 2017 and “Color,” juror: Lilian Tone, Museum of Modern Art; July 23 – August 14, 2016.
In December 2011, I was selected to participate in “Layer Current,” part of CurateNYC, at Like the Spice Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. And in June of 2007 I exhibited in “The Submissions Show,” Sarah Bowen Gallery, in Williamsburg.

The Performance Years
From 1979 to 1986, I performed more than a dozen art pieces in Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan, and New York City. It began as an expression in frustration about not finding outlets to exhibit paintings. I spent the next seven years completing a cycle of disciplines that took me through soliloquies and monologues, dance and choreography, music and vocal performances and multimedia compositions. After experiencing the difficulties of arranging performances in New York, plus the lack of personal transportation and a network of friends for at-the-ready performers, I ended the effort in 1986.
